Staff productivity is influenced by many factors, key among them well-being in relation to financial security. Numerous studies have linked high stress to real or perceived financial challenges, and struggling to make ends meet ultimately has an impact on job performance. Improving staff financial literacy is a great way to alleviate this kind of stress and in turn increase staff productivity. Essentially, the less people are stressed about their personal or family finances, the more they will focus on their work, resulting in improved performance and overall staff retention.
Increased financial resilience further enables food and nutrition security, promoting overall staff well-being. Our financial education programs can be tailored to an organization’s needs and culture (through a combination of trainings, infomercials and specifically designed edutainment materials) or, staff can attend one of our regular seminars, held at our training facility for employees from different organisations.

In November 2016 social enterprise Eos Group Myanmar Ltd. in partnership with Exera Ltd., a Myanmar registered security service provider delivered the first financial literacy program for service and manufacturing industry workers: Yangon-based Security Guards!
Using innovative methods and teaching tools underpinned by a focus on measurable skills transfer and deep engagement beyond mere classroom sessions, this pilot program successfully paved the way for further initiatives, be it as an addition to corporate social responsibility commitments by Myanmar-based entities across various industry sectors or in tandem with existing development or humanitarian programs.
